Ourpack is a parental control software that you can install on iPhones, iPads, and any android phone or tablet.
We have been using it in our family for many years now. It’s not perfect but for how we manage devices in our home, it gets us 90% of the way there the other 10% we use screen time settings within iPhone.
Our packed allows you to schedule when your child has access to apps during the day. What’s great is it removes the icons from your child’s phone when they’re blocked.
You also get parental control capabilities, such as content filtering you can put in websites to block specific websites it blocks adult content automatically you can also have specific controls over certain iPhone settings like requiring a password for purchase the ability to not delete apps, the ability to prohibit password changes And some other features as well.
You also get a location tracking feature built into it as well, which I like a lot and you can plug-ins addresses for specific locations and if the device leaves that designated area, it will alert you.
Now fall short, we don’t mind our kids, but you can’t set a time limit for that specific app so that’s where we screen time.
The only other critical drawback I have to our packed is there’s no text monitoring, and there is no monitoring of social media.
With their premium plus plan, you can turn on live captures of what your child is doing on the device by capturing screenshots, but if they have an iPhone, the child has to approve this. This is a limitation, not of our pact, but of iPhones themselves due to their privacy settings.
Below you can see chart capabilities with OurPact at a high-level there’s also a link here so you can check out the features yourself.
Lastly, I’ve got a video that summarizes and also another video here that walks you through configuring and setting up our packed on a device.
